We are excited to share the new structure for the Aquidneck Bulldogs 2026–2027 season!
After a successful summer, our goal is to continue building the Aquidneck Bulldogs into a true year-round developmental program. Rather than holding fall tryouts, we want to give the players who competed with us this summer the opportunity to stay together, continue developing, and build toward next summer.
This year, we are placing an even greater emphasis on player development, higher-level instruction, and continuity throughout the year. We are continuing to strengthen our coaching staff with more qualified and experienced coaches while creating a more detailed training structure focused on individual skill development, lacrosse IQ, positional instruction, speed and agility, and overall player growth.
Our goal is simple: develop better lacrosse players throughout the entire year so that when summer arrives, our teams are prepared to compete at a high level.
FALL DEVELOPMENT
Our fall season will be heavily focused on teaching and development rather than simply playing games.

September 20 – October 25 (No practice October 11)
2:00–3:30 PM | Portsmouth
*7 Thursday Training Sessions
October 8 – November 19
Teamworks Somerset
6:00–8:00 PM range
These sessions will allow our coaches to spend more time developing fundamentals, stick skills, positional technique, decision-making, lacrosse IQ, and overall game understanding. We want to slow things down, teach the details, and give players the repetitions they need to make meaningful improvements.

We are extremely excited about the direction of the Aquidneck Bulldogs. Our new structure gives us more opportunities to teach, develop, and coach our players throughout the year, rather than trying to accomplish everything during a short summer season.
With an enhanced coaching staff, more detailed instruction, additional training opportunities, and a clear year-round development plan, we believe our players will make significant strides individually and collectively.
We want our players entering next spring summer more skilled, more confident, more knowledgeable, and ready to compete.
We are excited to continue building the Aquidneck Bulldogs and look forward to another great year of development.
