Hello Bulldogs!
We are very excited to announce that we have created a new branch of the Rhode Island Bulldogs family; The Aquidneck Dogs.
Through working with RIYLL leaders and Bulldogs families, we created this program to better serve a community that is looking for options to play year-round without having to travel to northern Rhode Island to do so. We are making a commitment to better serve our players throughout Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts.
The Aquidneck Dogs will operate as its own program under the RI Bulldogs Umbrella and serve communities such as – Portsmouth, Middletown, Little Compton, Tiverton, Swansea, etc., but is certainly not limited to just those towns! For this summer, we will only be hosting tryouts for grades 3-8 with the hopes to expand more and more in the future! Aquidneck Dogs teams will practice twice a week over the summer and participate in one local tournament.
We now offer “Aquidneck Dogs” teams under the structure and guidance of our new coordinator Nolan Carfagna and top-notch coaches like Ben Willet, Elias Elcock, Connor Kellogg & many other high level former players and coaches. Your children will still receive high-quality coaching, and improvement on the developmental/skills, programmatic areas of the game and experience the Bulldog Difference. By being an “Aquidneck Dog”, you will receive the same discounted pricing for clinics, leagues and camps throughout the year. You can still choose to cross the bridge and play on teams that have a home base in northern Rhode Island but for convenience reasons, scheduling conflicts, traffic, etc., you now have that option!
If you know of any friends, families, etc. that would be interested in learning more about this program, send them this link!
The addition of this program does not change the structure of our current RI Bulldogs year-round teams based out of Northern Rhode Island. For now, our full-year development program will still be the RI Bulldogs.
We are extremely excited to add a new wave of lacrosse players to our greater Rhode Island Bulldogs Family this summer!
